Cow Start Calcium Bolus 24’s is a complimentary dietetic mineral feed (Calcium supplement) for the reduction of the risk of milk fever (Hypocalcaemia) in Dairy Cows.

It provides both rapidly available and sustained-release calcium, crucial for maintaining stable blood calcium levels during peak demand periods. It features a convenient fat coating for easy swallowing and safe administration, and each 260g bolus contains 65g of calcium and 4g of magnesium to enhance absorption.

Directions:

For the reduction of the risk of milk fever
1 dose (2 boluses) at the first indication of, or at calving
A second dose (2 boluses) 12 – 15 hours later

For Supplementation following calcium injection
1 dose (2 boluses) 2 – 3 hours after calcium injection
A second dose (2 boluses) 12 – 15 hours later

Precautions:
Do not administer the dose (2 boluses) with excessive force.
Do not administer to a cow that is showing clear symptoms of clinical milk fever; such as a down cow, or a cow with an impaired swallowing reflex.
Damaged or broken boluses should never be administered to cows.
